Great southern land

It’s big. It’s flat. And there is a long way between pubs. A recent trip into western Queensland with my youngest daughter showed me just how beautiful our great southern land is. We were on a trip to the outer Barcoo shire to see the places that inspired writers such as A. B. “Banjo” Patterson.

Here are just a couple of shots to whet your appetite. I will get more up over the coming weeks. I’m not a great landscape photographer but these are interesting for the subject matter if not the composure.
