Spring time and a school holiday visit to my in-laws gives the opportunity to play with taking some pictures of flowers. The colours are always brilliant and being further south than usual gives a whole new range of botanical gifts.
I remember the flowers in my grandmother’s garden, those Victorian country garden “standards”. Walking around the garden of my children’s Nanna helped me recall the stocks, daffodils and pansies which lined the pathways leading to my Nan’s back door.
Here are a few of the bits and bobs from the garden.
